About Me

Goddess Librarian was a YA librarian for 7 years before deciding to stay home and entertain a younger audience. I've chaired VOYA's Top Shelf Fiction for Middle Schoolers Committee and presented at numerous NYLA conferences. In addition to book blogging, I also review YA books for VOYA Magazine-- a must have journal for YA librarians.

I balance reading, reviewing, running, parenting four kids, selling Usborne books, and Girl Scout Cookies. Ok, I try to balance it all.

Unlike most book bloggers I don't want to write a book. Okay, sure, it would be cool to write a book. But that's not my end-goal. I don't want to work in publishing. I like being home with the kids. What I want to do, more than anything, is to get paid for what I already do. I want to write YA book reviews for a newspaper/magazine/blog and get paid more than pennies or adsense or whatever gimmick most places pay. I want to get paid for my reviews, not for page views. Feel free to make my dream come true.

Email me at reviews@goddesslibrarian.com if you have a book you'd like me to review. Or visit my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/goddesslibrarian
